The story focuses on a dysfunctional family. Lawyer Tara Bhalla stays with her partner Mudassar in Bengaluru. She went out to a party after winning her first case. Tara did not respond to calls or messages from her mother, Gayatri. She found Gayatri dead by a waitress in a bar. When her father Harwich called the same day Her mother called to let her know. To be with Harish, she hurried to her hometown of Chandigarh. She has three siblings, Harish's oldest son, Karan, who lives in Los Angeles, the second son, Nakul; and his adopted son, Angad, lives in Dubai. Additionally, Karan and his American wife Daisy, along with Angad, have booked the first flight to Chandigarh. Meanwhile, Nakul is unavailable as he is climbing Mount A. Everest and his phone were unreachable. His father left messages for him to look at later. The first was Tara. She and Harish disagreed over the cremation. And they argue about it. Harish is also angry with Karan and Angad because he thinks that they seem unaffected by their mother's death. A quarrel broke out in the house because of Harish's behavior. However, they had no choice. For a few days they had to live together under one roof.
